We did a photography unit in intro to art. We took about 50 photos, and we chose our best 10. Even though we're all constantly changing, photos are one of the only things that stay the exact same. Memories can be kept alive through them.
Theses are the other 40 photos that aren't as good as the other 10.
Reflection on Portrait Photography Collection: February 6, 2012.
Assignment 10-C.
1. I think the good or strong parts of my portrait photo collection is the emphasis because its different in every picture.
2. I think I could have done a better job with taking pictures outside of school and taking pictures with different backgrounds because they all are at the school.
3. The human parts I had stand out most often were people's heads or faces because I like how it focuses on close up objects.
4. The type of balance I used the most was asymmetrical because that is the easiest kind of picture to take.
5. I conclude that photography is really interesting and exciting because its very independent and you control what you take. I think the photography class would interest me because I enjoyed this project.
6. I learned that I can't be picky when I'm taking pictures because I won't get done on time if I delete every picture I don't like very much. I could apply the skills to life by not being so picky about everything.
7. My photos were mostly planned, and I created them because I like the way eyes focus and the way people's hair shines.
8. I thought the assignment was good because it's really fun to go around and take pictures and learn at the same time. I think this project should continue in the future, but I think just photography in general would be good, not just portraits. Portraits are harder to take because you have to ask permission and it's time consuming.
